Impromptu Walk at Great Meadows

Sunday, June 26, 7 - 8:30 am

Solstice greetings!  Please join me for an early morning walk at Great Meadows on Sunday, 6/26, from 7 - 8:30 am.  We'll put off an evening walk and firefly watching for fairer weather.

Great Meadows is most vibrant in the early morning hours, often cloaked in mist and festooned with spiderwebs.  After the long wet spell, the wildflowers, fledglings, and water life will be reviving themselves and the air will be filled with the heady fragrances of milkweed, swamp azalea, black locust, and catalpa blossoms.  Looking forward to greeting the day with you!

Common Skullcap
A $5 donation will be gratefully accepted.  Co-sponsored with Musketaquid Arts and Environment Program.  The walk will take place unless there is a downpour or thunderstorm.  Call me if unsure, 978-760-1933.

Stay tuned for future impromptu evening and early weekday morning walks, as the weather and my calendar allow.
